I’ve covered the earth, I’ve swallowed the dirt, I’ve hit the bottom and wondered what to believe in. I’ve ran out of funds, been lost in the sun and felt your loving arms hold me tight under the ceiling I’m sorry for the mistreatment and running home despite all the reasons to stay and i’m a fool for leaving you alone, all those times. Got caught in the sand I reached for your hand and looked towards the ocean and realized our love for the first time. Then in Central Park we waited till dark, laid down our bodies and you just held me. I’m sorry for the mistreatment and running home despite all the reasons to stay and i’m a fool for leaving you alone, all those times.

Future Wives 04:25
How many future wives have I came home to that I would never marry? Is that not scary? I thought once or twice about how i’d break the news and decided to tell the truth and you weren’t angry. Cendrillon, send me to the rafters if forever after ain’t what you’re after Or take me out, take me to your beach house “oh what are you on about? there’s no beach house for me.” You’re the apple of my eye oh it’s true, but i’d shoot the moon just to get it off both of my shoulders Glued together in hotel rooms, dreams I hold onto, but I won’t hold it against you forget about it till we’re older. Cendrillon, send me to the rafters if forever after ain’t what you’re after Or take me out, take me to your beach house, “oh what are you on about? there’s no beach house for me.”

Turn the lights down low Hurry off the clothes Push aside all the other scenarios Hoping you can let yourself go Cause he ain’t gonna treat you right He ain’t gonna be your warmth in the night Cause he doesn’t hold you tight Cause he never Made sure you made it home Wondered if you’re alone Or looked for houses that you both could own He never waited for the phone. He ain’t gonna treat you right He ain't gonna be your warmth in the night Cause he doesn’t hold you tight Never learned what you like Call me when the light goes out A spark that never made a sound Call me when the smoke dies down, You better.

Honeycomb 03:14
"Now the days are golden long, I think i’ll call you Honeycomb,” I said to you Buzzin' round as if your feet can’t reach the ground Sugary sweet, my honeybee i’m onto you Coming down, the nights are so much cooler now and i’m into you. The chemicals are in the air, I breathe for you. "Lighten up lighten up, it’s much more fun!” I said to you. You wanna walk? We’ll go walking. You wanna talk? I’m good at talking to you. Let me in I need a home inside your honeycomb and i’m into you. To be upon high up in the sky that’s so blue. “Hear me out, i’d like to take you, take you out” I sang to you What haven’t you seen my little bee? I’ll show you. How much do you need my little queen? I’ll work for you. The temperature is rising, I’ll sweat for you. Batter up batter up, these games are fun to play with you. You wanna walk? We’ll go walking. You wanna talk? I’m good at talking to you. Let me in I need a home inside you’re honeycomb and i’m into you. To be upon high, up in the sky that’s so blue.

about

Living Well is a band that was formed to write pop rock love songs that were direct and to the point. These 4 songs showcase the band firing on all cylinders and I couldn't be more proud of the way they turned out.

These songs are my attempt at grappling with the intense roller coaster of emotions that exist with falling in love with someone you can't ultimately be with. Star-crossed lovers I suppose. In all the looking back, remembering the times together, and ultimately the regrets, I think these songs carry with them a sense of hope. The probability of finding someone who truly takes your breath away seems incomprehensible sometimes, and then when you least expect it they magically fall in your lap. I'm grateful for the times I got to spend with this person, emotional freakouts and all. Always Love.

I hope you all enjoy the music.

For Kamila, my muse.
